Long awaited album 'Stories to be told' available now, follow link below to purchase
Formed as a music project three years ago by Jack Kendall (star of ITV's Bad Lads Army) P45 started life on the circuit of Essex and London's pub and club scene.
After some lineup changes talented songwriter Rob Sigston (bass) jumped on board, as well as drummer Dustin Burgess (veteran of countless ska bands and Madness tribute) they then enjoyed massive gigs supporting Bruce Foxton's FROM THE JAM at the Brighton Centre & Concorde 2. They have also supported BAD MANNERS, LEE THOMPSON'S SKA ORCHESTRA, THE BEAT, THE SELECTER, CHAS & DAVE, THE COCKNEY REJECTS to name but a few. It was during this time that Rob (who's previous efforts enjoyed Radio1 air play) started to write songs such as 'Top Floor' and 'London Boys City Girls'. After collaborating with Garry Bushell they released an album featuring Buster Bloodvessel for Help the Heroes charity. The band started to build notoriety for their energetic performances and original music. P45 and signed to 54-46 records, they are fronted by 'larger than life' Jack Kendall - A band with a story to tell....
P45 are now entering a new chapter in their life with the addition of Kamil Gorski, a breath taking saxophonist and trumpeter Colin Graham who has travelled all over the world playing huge stages with Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, Sting, Eric Clapton etc. He has also played at the Brit Awards twice with Maxi Priest and Eternal. Together Kamil and Colin make up an amazing horn section for the band and are the perfect icing on an already sweet cake.
P45 have now evolved into an unstoppable powerhouse of a band and are now considered to be one of the top names on the original ska music scene.
